stage 01
Initial 1:1 Clinical Pilates Consultation
Timeline: Week 1
Your guided introduction to the reformer through a range of fundamental exercises and movements. This initial consultation will also involve an in depth personal, medical and case history, as well as further examination, movement assessment & specific testing that is relevant to your presenting complaint/injury.
stage 02
Subsequent Clinical Pilates Consultation/s
Timeline: Week 1-2
Following your initial consultation, you are required to complete a subsequent 1:1 session/s (1-3 depending on your injury/experience) that centre around a guided private reformer Clinical Pilates class that has been constructed uniquely for you. We will advise you when we feel it is safe, and you are ready, to progress to Stage 3 (below).

Personal Reformer Clinical Pilates Sessions
Timeline: Week 3-8
When you have gained a thorough understanding of your program, and are able to progress through your sessions safely and effectively, you will be given the all clear to book in and utilise the reformer in your own time. Your ongoing program with specific exercises, and any relevant progressions will be provided to you as a guide. Recommendations for session frequency and duration of each program will also be provided to you based on your needs/goals, however as a general rule we recommend 2-3 sessions per week for a minimum of 6-8 weeks for best results.

Spring-loaded pilates reformers deliver a "whole-body workout" that challenges you through a safe, controlled & effective method that is suitable for people of all ages, experience and fitness levels

All sessions are designed and administered by principal osteopath Josh who is specially trained in the dma rehabilitative pilates style

Your individualised pilates program will be specific to you, your underlying injury/problem areas and your health goals
​
An initial 1:1 private consult (and subsequent 1-3 private sessions depending on your injury/experience) which includes past medical history screening, assessment, goal setting & introduction to the reformer, is required before you can progress to personal use of the reformer with you individualised program in your own time*

Please note, all clinical pilates sessions with principal osteopath Josh are claimable via appropriate private health cover
